Hey friends,

Come see my grandmother Tria’s film debut from the 1960s at NYU in April! ✨

Melvin van Peebles’ “The Story of a Three Day Pass”/”La Permission” will be screening as part of this wonderful film series, “The Black Experience in French Cinema” next month at NYU.

It was van Peebles’ first feature made in France and my grandmother played Mrs. Abernathy.
