Bilingual Video Journalist, Various, New York, NY — May 2011 — Present
Video journalist covering US politics, health care, global businesses, US gun policy and, very occasionally, relevant and incisive arts and entertainment stories for global audiences in English and French. Recent experiences include as working full-time as a contractor at, BuzzFeed News, and as a Staff Video Reporter at Quartz/Atlantic Media. 

I also offer production support to French-speaking media professionals in the US looking for fresh angles, interview subjects, locations and production expertise in the US as well.  Previous experiences include working with journalists and filmmakers from France Télévisions, Le Journal du Dimanche, Le Parisien, Les Films d’Ici, and Compagnie des Phares et Balises on stories related to Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the Senegalese community in Harlem, the Affordable Care Act, and the impact of the transatlantic slave trade.

Staff News Producer, NBC News/Meet The Press, Washington DC —  May 2013 — Dec 2014
Scheduled & booked elite politicians, journalists and newsmakers. Researched guests and segments for news packages with special correspondents and round table discussions for the program. Pitched, researched and produced PRESS PASS segments, a book author series posted online that aired locally on WRC-TV in Washington. Managed on-location logistics and reporting for live audiences and television guests for segments in Boston and Denver. Promoted to Producer from Associate Producer after 10 months. Responsible for producing show opens and teases. Collaborated with video editors & graphic designers for fresh visual approaches to convey complex political stories. Researched & compiled relevant soundbites, news angles and b-roll for use within interview and roundtable segments on air.

Transformed AP wire copy into readable, professional broadcast copy. Produced and edited breaking news video from a variety of AP sources into professional video packages aimed at domestic US television affiliates and an online news video audience.  Pitched and produced relevant enterprise news stories; Translated French language news items for international broadcast. Promoted from Freelance Video Producer.
